Michael Gwinnett was born on March 10, 1995 in Hoboken, New Jersey. He discovered his passion for acting and creative writing early into his youth and pursued a major in theatre arts at High Tech High School in North Bergen, NJ. He attended the Rutgers Summer Acting Conservatory in 2012 before enrolling in New York University's BFA Drama program the following year at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. While still attending undergrad, he made his Off-Broadway debut by appearing in Underbelly Theater Company's adaptation of ALICE IN WONDERLAND for three performances at The Duke on 42nd Street. He later attended Stonestreet Studios to study film and television, where he was cast in several projects including a pilot on Stonestreet's Los Angeles, CA campus at Raleigh Studios. He earned his BFA in 2017 and made his playwriting stage debut less than a year later at Emerging Artists Theater's New Works series. He's currently submitting himself to local non-union audition opportunities while also seeking representation or freelance opportunities within the New York film and TV market.
